Mrs. O

A few fashion shots of Michelle Obama during the inauguration.  She looked stunning the entire weekend, and my mouth literally fell open when I saw her in her custom made Thom Browne coat.  Enjoy.  Oh, and she is killing 49!!!!!

Teeny Weeny Bikini on Deck

This was me last year.  I was cute.  Very cute if I must say so myself.  But what's the point of living if you aren't trying to get better?   I am going for the defined six pack, and I am going to wear the smallest bikini I can find that won't embarrass my kids.  But they will be alright.  It will build character.

So, I have started eating like this more.  I can not tell lie; with all the changes going on in my life, I became pretty inconsistent with my eating and working out.  But I am getting back on track.   I am no chef, and I promise when we get rich the FIRST thing I am going to do is hire a chef.  Believe that.  I don't need a personal trainer.  Just someone who can make chicken taste like fried chicken without the calories.  Ok, I know he/she will be a chef and not a magician, but a girl can hope.

Where's Waldo???

Wow.  The first three weeks of January had flown by, and I have been missing in action from my blog.  Lots of new changes have been happening in my life.  New house, new job, kids going to new schools- a lot of new things.  So, it has been exciting around here but also ridiculously busy.  No excuses but sometimes it is what it is.  I finally feel like I am getting my land legs again.

I am still on a mission.  40 in July, and I have LOTS of things I want to have by then or extremely close to attaining.  What about you?  What things are you working towards?  What do want to accomplish by mid-year?   Now, that we have our land legs, it's time to run.

Happy New Year! Let's Go!!!!!!!

The excitement at the beginning of the year is palatable. People are genuinely excited for others and themselves. It's like having a kid; it's a baby and has the potential to be great. You haven't done anything to it to screw it up.  But then somewhere around March the excitement is gone and your baby is starting to turn into a bratty two year old, and by the end of the year, you have a teen on your hands that is getting on your last nerve.  You are ready to kick it out and start over.

If we could carry the excitement that we feel, the hope that we feel, the belief that this is the year that amazing things are going to happen for us into each day, we would be unstoppable.

This is going to be a huge and outstanding year for me. This is my promise and demand on the Universe.

2013 is our year. Let's go.
